Dag 2 in the 6Days. After a dramatic opening day of the ninety-eighth edition of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) in Galicia, Spain, which saw Italy and Great Britain abandon the World Trophy race, the competitors started aand a wet start to the second morning made for slippery and muddy conditions for those first to arrive at the early special tests.

But when the more than five hundred and forty participants completed lap one of two of the Santiago loop, the conditions in the afternoon proved to be drier and more predictable. France remains the leader in Spain but the Spaniards jump over the US and now occupy second place in the intermediate standings. It is also a nice observation that the Belgians are also doing well. They move from P7 to P6.

Dietger Damiaens: “It was a very positive day with a strong 2nd round which gave me a 34th place. However, due to a one minute penalty at the pre-finish I dropped back to a 51st place. Tomorrow we will try to make up for it again!! Together with the other Belgian trophy riders we are now 6th.”

The United States remains in the lead in the Women's World Trophy standings, while Sweden holds its ground in the Junior World Trophy in Galicia. Here are the highlights from Day 2.
