Hn the Spanish Cózar, the last MXGP race of the 2024 season was held last weekend. A particularly nice day for the Netherlands, because Kay de Wolf won the world title in the MX2 class, following in the footsteps of Dave Strijbos, John van den Berk, Pedro Tragter and Jeffrey Herlings.

After the races, all of this year's champions were honored in Cózar. In addition to De Wolf, this year's world titles were also won by Kash van Hamond (65cc) and Lotte van Drunen (WMX). Furthermore, numerous awards were presented, such as the most FOX Holeshots and the most "RAM Qualifying Race" victories. The award for best organizer went to the MXGP of Arnhem! The award was received by organizer Dik van Wikselaar and his son Wiljan, who is closely involved in the organization.

Wiljan van Wikselaar:
“We are very honored to have won this award. We do our best to make our Grand Prix a good competition. We can do this thanks to our volunteers. It is nice that they support us so well. We hope to organize many more great competitions.”
