VGyan Doensen could have competed for the 125cc world title, but Noel Zanocz managed to put a stop to that. The Hungarian is in a class of his own on the Heerde circuit, only bad starts prevent him from taking the double. With a first and second place, Zanocz wins ahead of Simone Mancini (3-1) and Francisco Garcia (2-4). Doensen (5-3) has to settle for fourth place. Dani Heitink (7th) and Dean Gregoire (10th) finish their first 125cc World Championship in the top ten!

1e some
The Swede Sandro Sols takes the best start in the first heat ahead of Gregoire and Mancini. However, the Italian quickly takes the lead while Gregoire bites into the quick starter. Jarne Bervoets falls in the initial phase and is taken care of by the first aid team. Zanocz started the race in about tenth place, but after two laps he already took second place. He is already more than three seconds behind his Fantic colleague, but the Hungarian is fast. The lead disappears like snow in the sun and on the third lap Zanocz takes the lead. He then breaks away without any problems and wins the heat by almost 15 seconds. Garcia has the longest breath and manages to surprise Mancini in the last round. The Spaniard therefore comes second ahead of Mancini and Kasimir Hindersson. The tall Finn has had some work with Jayson van Drunen and Doensen but he wins the duel. Doensen crosses the finish line in fifth, Gregoire crosses the finish line in seventh and Van Drunen completes the top ten. A very bad start causes Dani Heitink to come out of the first corner in the backfield. The Yamaha rider managed to finish twelfth ahead of Douwe Van Mechgelen, who seemed to finish comfortably in the top ten until he crashed. Maxime Lucas (23rd) and Brent van der Walle (34th) also reach the finish.

2e some
Even after the starting gate drops for the second heat over 25 minutes and two laps, Sols reacts best. He is followed by Mancini, Van Drunen, Gregoire, Brennon Harrison, Heitink and his MJC colleague Bervoets. Van der Walle crashed in the first corner and has to give chase. Zanocz has to do that too because he only comes out of the first corner in 16th! Mancini quickly takes the lead, but the Dutch then attack Sols. Van Drunen wants to pass but he cannot, Gregoire also tries but the Swede does not bow. After almost ten minutes of racing, Doensen succeeds, but the leader already has a 15 second lead! Zanocz also passes the Dutch while Bervoets has fallen and is out of the points. The winner of the first heat is rapidly closing in on Doensen and after two laps the Limburger has to give up third place. At that moment he finished third in the daily rankings, but not much later Garcia managed to get into fourth place. This means that the last podium spot behind the two Fantic riders is for the Spaniard, who was already on the EMX250 podium this year. Heitink finished fifth while Gregoire dropped back later in the race and finished thirteenth. Van Drunen finished fifteenth and Bervoets came back and saw his effort rewarded with three points. Lucas crosses the finish line in 21st place while Van Mechgelen leaves the race early.
