TDuring the second MX2 series in Lombok, the two teammates Andrea Adamo and Liam Everts had a fierce duel. It ended in tears when the two fighters collided and fell to the ground.
First, reigning world champion Andrea Adamo attacked and took Liam Everts' spot, but he did not stop there and countered almost immediately. The hatchet was not buried yet, as a few corners later the pair clashed again, resulting in the crash.
Andrea Adamo on the incident: "I was fast from the start of the second heat, but I was a bit aggressive towards my teammate. I should have waited. I think it was a racing incident and from then on I rode strong to get back to P2."
In the KTM camp they could tear their hair out. We can't imagine that there wasn't a nice word between the two pilots and their superiors after the race. You can rewatch the match via the video below.
