EEarlier this year, Max Spies had to miss races due to back problems. During the Italian Grand Prix, the German was involved in a crash in the second heat. Initially, he wanted to continue riding, but he did not feel well. At the medical facilities, it quickly became clear that it was internal bleeding. The KTM rider was taken to the hospital by helicopter, where the bleeding stopped. Spies was then sent home to report to his own doctor the next day. There, a fracture in the hip was discovered, which turned out to be three months old and was causing back pain.

Spies will not be in action in the coming weeks, it is still unclear when he will be able to get back on the bike!
