Eind last year Edgar Canet-Ardevol came into contact with rally sport. The Spaniard competed for the RFME Junior team in motocross for years, but injuries threw a spanner in the works. The 19-year-old motocrosser got acquainted with this motorsport through sponsor “Kini” and with success! Last week the driver from Barcelona finished ninth during the Desafio Ruta 40 Rally, the fourth race of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. In his class Canet finished a neat second behind Bradley Cox, who we also know from motocross.
