ALast week it was officially announced that Janis Martins Reišulis will not be in action for the rest of the year. The Yamaha rider has suffered a knee injury that he has undergone surgery on. The Latvian finished fourth in the first race of the European Championship 250cc. According to our colleagues at Gatedrop.com, Gavin Towers will be used by Yamaha in Teutschenthal and Kegums as a replacement in the colours of the Team VRT Juniors. We are waiting for confirmation.
The American finished third in the Supercross Futures National Championship earlier this year.
