Jeffrey Herlings scored a 7-2-4 in the heats. The Hawkstone Park International Motocross was his first major race in a year.
The Bullet received a lot of attention and had a large crowd of fans around him in the pits all day. He had a poor start in race one, which limited his chances. In race two he was at the front of the race together with winner Glenn Coldenhoff, but due to a crash he had to settle for P4. Herlings complained about arm pump after the first series, but it was still a decent recovery.
Colleague Jonathan McCready from Gatedrop.com spoke to the five-time world champion after the race.
