Da Frenchman Gregory Aranda is good for the German supercross championship, also known as the ADAC SX Cup, started. Riding the number one title as defending champion on a Monster Energy Pfeil Kawasaki, he won the SX1 class on both Friday and Saturday.
Friday
In the final on Friday we see some great names at the start, in addition to Aranda, the audience in Stuttgart can also watch the Americans with admiration Jace Owen, Austin Politelli en Ben Lamay. Being from the European side Mateo Bonini, Charles Lefrancois en Harry Kullas the most interesting names. At the start it is Jace Owen on his Suzuki who takes the lead ahead of Politelli and Bonini. Defending champion Aranda has to content himself with a 4th place for the time being, but the Frenchman soon starts to move towards the front. In round 4 it is Jace Owen who makes a mistake and falls, on a section that he could only take triple, triple. Due to this mistake, it was Politelli who took over the lead for Aranda. Halfway through the competition, Arande also starts to jump Owen's triple triple section and thus begins his ultimate pursuit of Politelli. With only a few laps to go, Aranda attacks Politelli and the first shot was the right one. The Frenchman wins the SX1 final on Friday ahead of Austin Politelli and Jace Owen.
Saturday
During the final on Saturday we can not only count on the same top players as the day before, but also other top players such as Kyle Chisolm and multiple SX Goes winner Jack Brunell were able to avoid bad luck this time and reached the final. Once again it is Jace Owen with a great holeshot, followed by Harri Kullas, Austin Politelli and the rest of the pack. Gregory Aranda also has a déjà vu moment, he once again has to come back from outside the top 5. To enhance the déjà vu moment even more, it is once again Jace Owen who lies down and thus gives away his leadership position to Politelli who had already made short work of Kullas, Aranda moves up to place 3. Less than a lap later he also goes Arande passes Kullas and we get the Politelli-Aranda battle again. Once again it is Aranda who only needs one shot, the Frenchman is faster than Politelli on the whoops and so he takes over the lead. Winner of this final and immediately king of Stuttgart with a perfect score is Gregory Aranda!
SX2
In the SX2 we did not immediately get any well-known names at the start, but these participants can do supercross well one by one. The best indoor specialist of all is the Spaniard Ilker Larranaga Olano, he won 3 of the 4 heats and managed to finish 6th in the other. That was enough to become Prince of Stuttgart. In second place we got the German Stephan Buttner who finished second twice, third once and fourth once. The Canadian Kade Walker was able to take the podium third. He only needed two fourth places, a third and a second place.
