Antonio Cairoli has won the Grand Prix in Valkenswaard for the sixth time. After some problems in the first series with the front wheel. Cairoli was able to put everything right in the restart and still take the victory. But our Belgians also made their presence felt at the Eurocircuit. Because after Cairoli we saw four compatriots in the top five with Van Horebeek, Strijbos, Desalle and Roelants.
Paulin wins, Cairoli problems!!!
It was Antonio Cairoli who took the holeshot ahead of Paulin, Frossard and Van Horebeek. We got Clement Desalle and Kevin Strijbos in sixth and seventh place. Roelants was at twelve and Getteman and De Dijcker were just in the top twenty. After three laps Cairoli indicated at the pit lane that he was experiencing some problems. So we had to wait and see whether Cairoli would go to the pits or continue driving. The Rockstar Suzuki duo Desalle and Strijbos rode in sixth and seventh place throughout the series and were only able to move up one place due to the fallen Steven Frossard, who rode firmly in fourth place. Joel Roelants did make up some places and finished eighth. At the front, Paulin had gotten into Cairoli's wheel and with two laps to go he also took the lead. Cairoli now clearly had problems and Van Horebeek also moved into second place. So Paulin won this first series ahead of Van Horebeek and the unfortunate Cairoli who rode around with broken spokes in the front wheel. Clement Desalle was able to take fourth place from Bobryshev at the end. Jens Getteman just finished twentieth and took one point. Ken De Dijcker finished twenty-third.

Cairoli for our Belgians…!!!
Antonio Cairoli was clearly keen to put things right in this second series. He did just that by grabbing the holeshot in the second series. Behind Cairoli we immediately got our compatriots with Van Horebeek, Strijbos, and Desalle. In the opening round we immediately lost the winner of the first series Gautier Paulin due to a spectacular fall, so Paulin was immediately over. So Cairoli was in the lead and we were looking forward to the battle for second place between our compatriots. Desalle was the first to loosen the role and so it was between Van Horebeek and Strijbos. Kevin Strijbos put Van Horebeek under pressure and took second place six laps from the end. But Joel Roelants also had a good start and earned a nice fifth place behind our other compatriots Strijbos, Van Horebeek and Desalle. Jens Getteman also rode in the points in this second series with a nineteenth place.
Antonio Cairoli made it a start-finish victory in this second series that also gave him the GP victory. The following places of honor had a Belgian tint with Van Horebeek, Strijbos, Desalle and Roelants in the top five of the day's rankings.
