OThe second round of the 'Belgian Masters of Motocross' was held on a course laid out in the countryside of Moerbeke-Waas. In the qualifying series we immediately saw a nice duel between Jeremy Van Horebeek and Joel Roelants. Van Horebeek took the holeshot and then played with Roelants who was allowed to come closer and then had to go a bit further away… In the background we saw Kristof Salaets finish an impressive race. The man rode in third place for a long time and was then overtaken by Kevin Strijbos. Who thus took third place.
The first round of the Inters Open opened with a holeshot by Kevin Strijbos, who was just ahead of Jeremy Van Horebeek at the start. The Suzuki man remained in the lead for half the race until the man in form, Van Horbeek, thought it was enough. The Yamaha Rinaldi pilot then went up and over Kevin Strijbos and immediately drove away from Jan & alleman. For second place we had a short but fierce duel between Strijbos and Roelants that turned out in Roelants' favor. This is how we got Van Horebeek, Roelants and Strijbos as the top three.
The second round of the Inters Open in turn became a true 'Van Horebeek' show. The Yamaha pilot showed friend and foe his excellent form by leading from the first lap to the last and putting the first pursuers at a large disadvantage. 24MX Honda pilot, Jens Getteman, who started very strongly in second place. In turn, he first saw Joel Roelants and then Kevin Strijbos, who started less well and made good progress, pass by to finish in fourth place. The top five was completed by Jeffrey Dewulf.
1. Jeremy Van Horebeek 50 pts (1-1)
2. Joel Roelants 44 pts (2-2)
3. Kevin Strijbos 40 pts (3-3)
4. Jens Getteman (5-4)
5. Jeffrey Dewulf (4-5)

Inters MX2
At the Inters MX2 it was Wietse Brackman who took command after the start. WackoBracko found a course in Moerbeke similar to what he is used to from the MCLB. The man on the Suzuki kept a very fast pace, but not fast enough to keep the advancing Yentel Martens behind him. The VMac Kawasaki pilot claimed the lead halfway through the race after an impressive overtaking race. Wietse Brackman also lost second place to Axel van de Sande.
The start of the second round of MX2 Inters immediately revealed the winner of the round. Yentel Martens took the holeshot and then managed to take the lead from start to finish. Fortunately, there was a little more fighting after him. Wietse Brackman, who started second, was first passed by Cedric Grobben and then by Robin Konings and Sven Scheynen. Cedric Grobben secured second place. Konings and Scheynen in turn battled it out for third place in the last lap, which ultimately went to Sven Scheynen.
1. Yentel Martens 50 pts (1-1)
2. Sven Scheynen 36 pts (5-3)
3. Wietse Brackman 36 pts (3-5)
