Gyesterday was the day of injuries. Mike Kras, Max Nagl and Todd Waters all injured themselves in one and the same crash. In Eersel a rider was standing still behind a jump hill, Mike Kras did not see this rider and drove full throttle into him. Max Nagl, Todd Waters and another hobby rider came jumping after him. Glenn Coldenhoff was training in Olmen and had a heavy fall. We list how everyone is doing. The official press release of Mike Kras can read here Service.

Glenn Coldenhoff

The Rockstar Energy MX2 Suzuki rider had a serious fall during training in Olmen yesterday and injured his knee. The literal ligament of his knee was completely torn and a piece of his lower leg was also broken off. Next week Glenn will go under the knife and he will face a rehabilitation of about 4 to 5 months.

Max nagl

After his serious back injury two years ago, the Honda factory rider has again been denied. Max Nagl broke his wrist in the Eersel crash. The impact was so great that even the German's steering wheel could not absorb the blow and was simply broken. The German's skipper's leg is broken and as a result he will miss 4 GPs. If all goes well, he will be back during the second Italian GP this year in Maggiora.

Todd Waters

The sympathetic Australian who is in his debut season in the MXGP class was also among the unfortunate ones in Eersel. The well-riding Husqvarna rider seems to be in very serious condition. Todd has broken both his calf and shin, a cracked right hip and a broken right collarbone. Todd should be allowed to leave the hospital this week. It is estimated that Waters will be out for about three months.

We hereby wish all riders, including the amateur riders involved, the best of luck! May such incidents no longer occur and we can all enjoy our sport to the fullest! If anyone knows more about the condition of the hobby riders involved, please let us know.
