GLast night the legendary SX of Daytona was held. The victories in this toughest race of the season went to Blake Baggett in the Lites and Ryan Villopoto in the 450's.

With the lites, the Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders turned it into a triple. Baggett won his first final of the season after only getting back on the bike just before the season. Championship leader Adam Cianciarulo finished second and Martin Davalos finished third. The trio rode in the top 3 from start to finish and thus restored the authoritarian status of the team.

In the championship, Cianciarulo increases his lead to 7 points over Davalos and 15 over Baggett.

In the 450 class, Ryan Villopoto led from start to finish. It was surprising Dean Wilson who rode in second place for a long time and kept riders like Dungey and Roczen behind him. A little further on, 'Bambam' Barcia once again lived up to his name by hitting the ground together with Malcolm Stewart. In the meantime, James Stewart had had to go to the pit lane after coming into contact with the fallen Alessi. This damaged his engine and he had to have the damage repaired. He ultimately did not get further than 18th place.

At the front, Villopoto was untouchable despite a small fall. Wilson struggled towards the end of the race and fell to seventh place. Roczen seemed to have recovered from his fall last week and crossed the finish line in second, just ahead of Ryan Dungey. Brock Tickle finished fourth.

In the championship, Villopoto increases his lead to 28 points over Dungey and 29 over Roczen.
