ZSaturday, October 12th will be the annual again RES 2 hours for the 65cc and 85cc and 3 hour cross (others) are held.
Both the 2-hour and 3-hour races are raced in teams of 2 to 3 people who must complete as many laps as possible in this time. The “Le Mans” start alone provides a nice spectacle for the public, who have a good view of the pits, transition area and the circuit from the jumping table. Competition speaker Leon van Gestel will inform the public about the progress of the competition from an aerial platform. Another piece of “service” to the audience present; there will be monitors both in the pits and on the table, where the teams can be closely followed and their times.
The 3 o'clock is full with a maximum of 40 teams, which promises plenty of excitement and sensation.
We have a reserve list, so there must be teams that have been registered and cannot participate for whatever reason, please let us know via verher@zeelandnet.nl so that the reserve teams can be deployed.
For the 2 hours There is still room for teams, so: young people 65cc and 85cc come on and register now. Registration for the 2 hours has lagged slightly and we will start here with approximately 10 teams. Here the most money is placed on the Vepix team with Youri van 't Ende, Jago Geerts and the recently recovered Bo de Clercq. Timo Dhanis, Avo Tack and Stan Brons will also do everything they can to get to the highest step of the podium. Registered at the last minute, certainly a team that should be taken into account: “the 3 musketeers” with Aron van de Veer, Simon Bezuijen and Bart Klijn.
With the 3 hours, there are also notable names in the registrations this year that will certainly provide excitement and sensation. We do not dare to name any names as contenders for the “amateur” teams, because if the participants are examined, there are at least 10 contenders for the podium. On paper there are some top performers among the license holders, but many factors can throw a spanner in the works. What about AMC Evergem team 3 with Jeffrey Dewulf/ Maarten Goovaert/ and ??. The AMX team of Jonas and Kristof Salaets with Michael Bruyninckx is also certainly a good contender. Pfeill team, with 2012 GP winner Kevin Wouts and Glenn Lambaerts, supplemented by the young Yannick Heylen, is one of the top teams, but many outsiders are lurking to strike. It will be very exciting again.
Free admission for the public!!
