De Swiss Valentin Guillod won his first European title with great success in the last test of this championship. Guillod was already clearly the strongest over the entire season and showed that again during the final race in Lierop. The Swiss, who is coached by former world champion Yves De Maria, won his fifth victory in Lierop and was also on the podium every time during the past season.

The second and third man in the championship Jeremy Seewer and our compatriot Damon Draulus did not even score in this last race. But they were still able to keep their place in the final standings and were allowed to join champion Valentin Guillod on the final podium of the EMX250 championship.

The final itself was won by Valentin Guillod who managed to keep a legion of Dutchmen behind him. Mike Kras and Brian Bogers were allowed to join the podium as number two and three. There were no less than eight Dutchmen in the top ten. The second non-Dutchman in the top ten was the EMX125 champion the Latvian Pauls Jonass who took a great fourth place in his first EMX250 race.
