Pauls Jonass has become the new European EMX125 champion. The Latvian from the Wilvo Nestaan KTM JM Racing team has won the EMX125 title after the FIM 125cc Junior Motocross World Champion title. Team manager Jacky Martens has once again succeeded in winning a title with a young talent.

In the English Matterley Basin we got the seventh and also the penultimate race of the EMX125 championship. The victory went for the sixth time to Pauls Jonass who with the victory in the final immediately secured himself the title. The second place was for the Frenchman Nicolas Dercourt and the German Henry Jacobi took the third place. The best Dutchman we got in seventh place with Calvin Vlaanderen who just stayed ahead of his compatriot Davy Pootjes.
Our best compatriot came in sixteenth place with Thomas Vermijl and Erik Willems disappointed with a 21st place just outside the points. Our third compatriot Nathan Renkens was finally flagged off as 24th.
