MMotocross is cataloged as a sport that causes nuisance. That is an image that we drag along and that we cannot easily get rid of. But part of this problem is in our OURSELVES' hands, which means that everyone can help to make our sport more attractive.

That is why Eric Geboers is launching the 'Neighborhood Friendly Motorcross' project. The aim is to publish a brochure in which organizers, pilots and spectators will find tips to limit the impact on the environment. The elaboration of this will take place within “Save the Motocross” and as soon as the brochure is ready, Eric Geboers, Stefan Everts and Joël Smets will propose it to the Ministers of Sport and the Environment.

COMPETITION

For this brochure we need tips to teach organizers, pilots and the public to deal better with the environment and even more respect for the area where the racing takes place. And everyone can contribute to this.

WHAT CAN YOU WIN?

It is a unique competition so there is also a unique prize because the winner receives:

-A shirt from Team Belgium MXoN 2013. This is a unique shirt with the name of all the pilots with also a hologram of a former MX icon (this year Georges Jobé). The shirt will be signed by the entire team! This shirt is not for sale anywhere, it is only for the sponsors of Team Belgium and team manager Joël Smets is donating 1 copy for this competition.

-An environmental mat with the logo of Team Belgium 2013, also signed by the entire team. This is also a unique price: this environmental mat is not for sale anywhere! This prize is donated by Luc and Christel from Empire Logomats (www.empirelogomats.com).

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

Send your tip for NEIGHBORHOOD FRIENDLY MOTORCROSS by email to superguyke@telenet.be. Please also include your name, address, email address and mobile number so that we can notify the winner. Of course, guidelines that are already included in the BMB regulations do not count. Here you have the links to what is already in the regulations:

The competition runs until Sunday, September 8, 23:59 PM. You can submit tips until then. These will be assessed by a team of experts and in the event of a tie, team manager Joël Smets will make the decision. The winner will be announced at the Belgian Masters of Motocross in Nil-Pierreux. The jury members will not see the names of the entrants, so we can guarantee a fair competition.
