Clement Desalle has become the big winner of the Czech Grand Prix. He convincingly won both series and was never threatened for the overall victory. With this he breaks the winning streak of Antonio Cairoli, who took four victories in a row. For Desalle it is his second GP victory of the season.

After Desalle we had a second Belgian on the podium, namely his teammate Kevin Strijbos. Strijbos took second and fourth place in the series and ensured that success for the Rockstar Suzuki Team was complete.

Third place went to the Russian Evgeny Bobryshev who, after all the problems he had with his lower leg, finally got the Honda back on the podium in Loket.
Ken De Dijcker just missed the podium to complete the Belgian party. With a third and sixth place, he fell just off the podium by just one point.

The unlucky one for the Belgians was Jeremy Van Horebeek. In the first heat he was in fourth place when the front brake locked and he was forced to give up. In the revival he finished second behind series winner Desalle.
Our fifth compatriot Joel Roelants took seventh and eleventh place in heats.

What about the leader in the standings… Antonio Cairoli did not have such a good weekend in Loket. With fourth and seventh places in the series, the Italian fell outside the podium for the first time this season. In the standings he still has a 90 point lead over second man Clement Desalle.

The next GP will take place on August 18 in Bastogne, Belgium, where Cairoli could clinch the title if he can take 10 points back from Desalle.
