Dhe dominance of the KTM riders this year is overwhelming. Whatever the opponents try, Tony Cairoli is supreme and is there time and time again. In Germany the Italian won his fourth GP in a row, although with equal points, beating Clement Desalle and Ken de Dycker.

In the first moto Paulin took the best start ahead of Cairoli and Desalle. Desalle quickly moved up to second place. Cairoli had some difficulty in the early stages with his asthma in the heat and had to slow down. However, in the sixth round Paulin had a very heavy fall on his head. He had to be taken away and was taken to hospital for examination. Desalle thus took the lead and maintained a lead of a handful of seconds over Cairoli. Yesterday's pole sitter Tommy Searle finished third and Ken de Dycker fourth. Kevin Strijbos finished fifth after a nice catch-up race, ahead of Joël Roelants and Jeremy van Horebeek.

In the second moto the best start was immediately for Cairoli ahead of Searle and Desalle. Desalle came to second place and searched for the leader in vain. However, he never spotted him again and had to settle for second place. Ken de Dycker jumped over Searle for third place and also the third podium place and Searle himself finished fourth in the heat and the final score. Strijbos finished fifth again, Roelants finished ninth and Vn Horebeek finished thirteenth.

Wildcard rider Kevin Wouts rode in the points in both heats and finished 17th and 18th.

In the battle for the title, Cairoli remains the authoritarian leader. He now precedes Desalle and De Dycker, both of whom will jump over Paulin after today. If things continue like this, Cairoli could already win the title in Bastogne.
