The fourth race in the MX3 World Championship took place in Slovenia. Home rider Klemen Gercar triumphed for his own people in the Slovenian Orehova Vas. Gercar won his home grand prix with a series victory and a fourth place. With this victory he immediately takes over the leading position from Matthias Walkner. The Austrian and defending champion did not have a good weekend in Slovenia. In the first series he came second behind Gercar, but in the second series he did not get further than eleventh place. Second place in the final standings of the grand prix went to the Czech Frantisek Smola and third was the Estonian Gert Krestinov on the podium.
Our only compatriot Jilani Cambre only scored some points for the World Championship in the second series with a fourteenth place.
