MMotocrossers break bones all the time and let's be honest, if the fracture is not complicated, a motocrosser usually doesn't care. Most MXers are back on their feet after 4 to 8 weeks. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone, there are children who are born with broken bones or suffer fractures in their first years of life and where these fractures do not heal spontaneously...

Fortunately, UZ Leuven has developed a technique that can make this nightmare a thing of the past for these children. But unfortunately that is not to be, almost a million euros still have to be found to finalize the research.

After reading you will probably wonder: What is this doing on a motocross website? Well, this whole project is close to myself. I myself am a child at home at the UZ Leuven and therefore 3 of the doctors I treated are involved in the “Bone 4 Kids” Program. Even with €1.00 you make a difference, especially if every Belgian had to do this.

More information can be found on the website Bone 4 Kids.
