ZSaturday March 16th was the 3e RES club cross of the 2013 season and what kind. A whole week of rain radar, webcam, bad weather forecast, which made almost everyone despondent. Nevertheless, the volunteers from RES Axel had made it a neat job again, which could be called simply good given the weather conditions. For this, a big compliment to the many volunteers who were busy again on the competition day at 07.00 a.m. to make it a beautiful day. The participants certainly did not let up, with a nice field of participants in all classes.

Danish guest rider Michel Young-Schmidt finished fourth, with a considerable gap. Mats Leeuwestijn completed the top five.

Now it was a regrouping at the front with leader Jordy van de Wiele and Ronny van Hove, Wesley van de Torre, Kevin Spruijt and pursuer Kevin Reynaert.
