Frants on their own terrain are hard to stop… Valentin Teillet and Gautier Paulin proved that again today in the qualifications of the International race of Valence. Teillet was faster in the MX2 class than his compatriot Benoit Paturel on a Husqvarna and Glenn Coldenhoff. Damon Graulus was best compatriot in ninth place, followed by Kevin Fors in 11th place.

In the MX1 class, the fastest time in both sessions went to Gautier Paulin. The Kawasaki rider rode just under a second faster than Tanel Leok, who kept Kevin Strijbos behind him. Cedric Soubeyras finished fourth and Desalle followed in fifth place. Jens Getteman again recorded a strong performance with a 10th fastest time. Jeremy van Horebeek is not there in Valence. De Jerre hurt his finger during training and will no longer compete for Qatar. He will certainly start, but probably not at full strength.
