DDue to the rising sea, the race was not only flagged off earlier. There was also confusion about the exact end of the race! So no 'normal' Enduropale, but with the 42-year-old regular Jean-Claude Moussé there was a traditional winner. For the Yamaha veteran it was after 99, 04 and last year already his fourth victory in the legendary beach cross.

Moussé was in the lead for almost the entire race, but in the last lap he was passed by Milko Potisek (Yamaha). Potisek thought the race would last one lap longer and continued (unsuccessfully) alone. Adrien Van Beveren completed the blue success. Enduro World Champion Antoine Meo finished a creditable 5th, Nicolas Aubin finished 7th. Tom Lahousse easily became the best of the Belgians. Tom finished 10th, leaving Thierry Klutz (12th) and Ricky Claus (14th) behind him. The 21 Enduropale was a disappointment for both former winner Steve Ramon, 2013st, and Julien Lieber - who suffered engine trouble at the start of the race when he was in the top five.
