HThe Dutch-language magazine “The Art of Motocross” conquers the hearts of its readers.

With the Motocross of Nations World Champion on the cover of “The Art of Motocross 4”, we have a wonderful end to our first year as a new magazine. The wonderful interviews that also fill this fourth issue are all an added value for the sport and its readers. The results of the photo shoots that you find in “The Art of Motocross” are sublime. The collaboration with the top stars, their partners, team managers, entourage and sponsors is therefore unique in its kind. Our magazine wanted to move away from the busy covers you see on most magazines. We always present the main story with a beautiful image on the cover with a small title under the photo. We want to bring an artistic and sleekly laid out magazine to the reader with exceptional photography and in-depth interviews.

The main story takes up approximately 16 pages in the magazine, but many others appear in words and images. We focus on the youth, the women in the paddock and on the motorcycle, people who held sway in the sport in the past, of course the stars and very importantly, many interesting stories surrounding the sport.

In our 4th issue you can also hear Joël Roelants' choice of music, interviews with Evgeny Bobryshev at home in Kondrovo, Kevin Strijbos, motorcycles of world champions, Ben Townley, tourism with Paris, a very unique story of André Malherbe who welcomes us to his home and doesn't shy away from a question, Motocross of Nations and the strong woman behind Antonio Cairoli: Jill Cox.

The exclusive 3 monthly Dutch magazine “The Art of Motocross” was launched on January 1, 2012 with Ben Townley on the cover, we couldn't imagine a better start. The superstar who made it happen in Europe and America who is helping to start up a new magazine, an innovative magazine that mixes lifestyle and action in a way that has never happened before in this sport. The sales figures proved that there was a need for a new vision on the popular MX sport.

My belief in the fact that supporters want to know all year round what the athletes are doing in terms of training, holidays, preparation, etc. was confirmed every three months. With the greatest MX champion of all time, The Legend Stefan Everts on the cover at the start of the MX season, thousands of readers bought our March/April/May issue in newsagents and supermarkets or subscribed to a subscription of 4 issues per year at €35 ( postal costs for Belgium and the Netherlands included)

With number 3 in our series we have uniquely depicted five-time world champion Joël Smets. The cover was again very different from the usual covers.

Joël Smets was very proud of the magazine and never missed an opportunity to praise our magazine. We received a very nice compliment from four-time world champion Harry Everts, who is extensively discussed in Kevin Strijbos' story in our fourth issue. Harry called us the day after the performance to compliment us on the interview we had conducted as Harry had intended. The journalist Pieter Vanlommel also receives this compliment. Team USA loved the magazine concept. It is clear that the athletes support the idea of our new concept.

The presentation of our 4th edition of “The Art of Motocross” and “The Art of Cyclocross” took place amid massive interest in Brasserie Pot au Feu in Olen. In collaboration with the aforementioned brasserie, winery La Buena Vida and La Buena Tierra, guests were served the most delicious snacks and wines. Despite the fact that the cyclo-cross competition in Tabor had just ended, and understandably most riders opted for rest, many teams and companies were still present.

Mayor Peter Vanvelthoven, who recently received the beautiful Motocross of Nations in his city of Lommel, was also present with a partner. The riders were represented by Ken DeDijcker and partner, Joël Smets, Eric Geboers and his new wife, Harry Everts and partner, Everts & Friends co-organizer Joël Demesmaecker, Youthstream's circuit builder Greg Atkins and partner, Luc and Git Picart.

Quite an honor for a starting magazine that is gaining interest among readers every day.
