OOn July 29, the 7th was held on the Horensbergdam in Genkde edition of the 'Everts and Friends Charity Race', a unique motocross event for charity.

It was a wonderful edition with a sporting spectacle and a crowd of spectators on the stands and along the circuit. In the meantime, the children and young people from the charities selected by Stefan Everts enjoyed the attention of 'The Legend' and a relaxing day of motorcross. Now that the receipts and costs are known exactly, it is known what amount can be donated to the various charities.

Ter Heide, a guidance center for residents with severe or multiple intellectual disabilities, receives 18.000 euros.

Foundation Kriibskrank Kanner receives a check for 5.000 euros. The money will be spent on the renovation and expansion of the parent home for seriously ill children in Laeken.

A Heart for Limburg (King Baudouin Foundation) receives two cheques, specifically for BSBO Heideland (6.880 euros) and Klavertje Vijf Primary School (6.000 euros).

De  Medi Clowns – themselves present at the Horensbergdam – received 3.500 euros to support their hospital and home visits to sick children.

Bed net, that connects long-term and chronically ill children to their own school and classroom via the internet, receives a check for 3.000 euros.

MPI De Dageraad in Kortessem, for children with a moderate to severe mental disability, will receive an amount of 8.500 euros.

The Molse youth institution The market Finally, you receive a contribution of 2.000 euros.

'Everts & Friends' also bought 100 trees - promotion 'Save the motocross' – to plant these on the Horensbergdam, home base of the 'Everts & Friends Charity Race' in Genk.

Stefan Everts himself is very pleased with the result: “The Charity Race was once again a direct hit, with the cyclo-cross riders, motocross riders, employees and the public. The masses were out and about and the children and young people from the charities had a fantastic day. Although less was consumed than last year, we were still able to donate a record amount and that gives us great pleasure.”

Everts & Friends and AMC Genk would like to once again thank all employees, drivers, sponsors, media, spectators and sympathizers for their willing cooperation in the Charity Race. Next year there will be another Everts & Friends Charity Race. Everything is already being put in place to make it an even bigger, more fun and still unique motocross and family event for charity.
