IIn the German Teutschenthal, the 6-time world champion Antonio Cairoli (KTM) has won the last GP of the season. For Cairoli, who already won the title in the previous GP, this is the seventh victory in a row, his eleventh of this season.
Cairoli again rode two perfect races and managed to win both heats. The 2 MX2011 world champion Ken Roczen (KTM) took part in this GP in front of his own audience and came second in the final standings. Clement Desalle (Suzuki) finished third in the final standings with a second and fourth place.
After two bad starts, Ken de Dycker (KTM) finished seventh in the final standings, Kevin Strijbos (KTM) finished twelfth and the young Jeremy Delincé (Yamaha) finished 19th with 4 points.
In the final standings of the MX1 World Championship, Cairoli became the overall winner with 692 points ahead of Desalle with 594 points. Ken de Dycker is fifth with 505 points, followed by Kevin Strijbos in sixth place with 405 points.
Next week, Clement Desalle and Ken de Dycker, together with Jeremy van Horebeek, will represent the Belgian team in Lommel, Limburg, for the annual Motocross of Nations Nations Cup.
