Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM), GP winner: “I already thought on Saturday that CP377 would be here quickly. That turned out to be true. In the first series we rode almost the same pace. So the fact that I was able to wear him down was definitely a positive thing. Loket is not exactly my favorite job, but I still enjoyed myself. In the second race I had a good start, but in the first corner I went a bit too wide with Rui Goncalves, which dropped me back to 7thde place. I tried to find places where I could make a difference. That is not that easy in Loket. Still, I managed that quite well from the 4de place I could then build up my match.

this 50Ste GP victory is fantastic! When you start racing, you never dare think that you will ever make it this far. I dedicate this GP to my mother who is unfortunately no longer with us. But she has always been my biggest supporter. Max Nagl's podium finish in the first round was also a boost for the team.”

Christophe Pourcel (CP 377-Monster Energy Kawasaki), second in the GP: “Loket is a circuit where I like to drive. Yet it is certainly not an easy circuit, there is very little grip. A strong start is very important. I have done that. In the first race I was always a second or two behind Tony but unfortunately I couldn't pass him.

Things also went well in the second race, but it's a shame about my mistake when I was second. Still, I would like to take another GP victory this season. I will be working hard on this together with the team in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to Matterly Basin, which is one of the best circuits of the World Cup.”

Clément Desalle (Rockstar Energy Suzuki), third in the GP: “I am not completely satisfied with this Grand Prix. The track was treacherous and overtaking is not easy here. In the first moto I didn't have a good start, but I still finished fourth. I've been having a bit of trouble lately with my starts, so I was pleased that I was off to a good start after the break.

In the second moto I was able to take the lead from Nagl, but when Cairoli overtook me I tried to join him, but unfortunately that didn't work. We were also all very close together with myself Christophe Pourcel and Max Nagl. The most important thing, of course, remains to be regular and score points. That's why I didn't want to take any risks to continue following Antonio. I have the feeling that there might have been more today. Last year I didn't ride in Matterly Basin because I was injured. The last time was in 2007, so I am curious about the British GP.”

Max Nagl (Red Bull KTM), 4de in the GP:
“I never expected this! In the first race I immediately finished third. Everyone around me was talking about a top 10 as a good result beforehand. Just start well and try to stay at the front as long as possible, that was the plan. Actually, that turned out perfectly because physically I am nowhere near 100%. During the match I had quite a bit of ampump. And physically you should not underestimate Loket either. In the second moto I took the holeshot and was able to take the lead at the beginning. Desalle was a bit faster and then I had to pass. At the moment I am at 80% of my form level, so I was already fourth here, which is extremely motivating. I definitely want to show myself in the next GPs!”
