Qualifying series
José made a great start and came out of the first corner as leader ahead of Herlings and Van Horebeek. However, during the first round he lost out to an unleashed Herlings and a little later Van Horebeek and Roelants also came alongside. José was now in fourth place ahead of Searle who also attacked the Diga Racing rider. He fought hard to defend his fourth place but on the third lap he had to let Searle go.
About halfway through the race Nicholls passed José and on the 8th lap Tixier took advantage of a mistake to relegate José to sixth place. Butron ultimately finished in a nice sixth place ahead of Tonus and behind Tixier.
Priit crashed at the start and finished in 28th place after the first lap. After three laps he was in 26th place, but then things went wrong again and he came back to the circuit as the very last. However, the young Estonian did not give up and tried to get to the front as quickly as possible. He passed Monticelli and Fors. Halfway through the race, Priit was in 23rd place. In the final laps he managed to gain a few places and eventually ended the qualifying series with a 20th place ahead of Kenny Vandueren and behind Julien Lieber.
