In 2013 Max Nagl will no longer be able to ride for the RED BULL KTM MX1 factory team. Max was personally informed of this by Stefan Everts last Thursday. KTM therefore no longer has a place for the 24-year-old German in 2013. Max Nagl received this news just before his departure to Tensfeld, where he made his comeback after his serious back injury.
Max Nagl : I was completely surprised by the news. I wanted to show myself again for KTM with my comeback. But I have to accept KTM's decision. Nevertheless, I thank KTM for allowing me to be on their factory team for the past five years. It was a great time with ups and downs. As well as with success such as the Vice World title in 2009.
Of course I will now start in the next races with a view to a place in a factory team for 2013.
