Honda Motor Europe is pleased to announce that Evgeny Bobryshev has signed an agreement to ride for the Honda World Motocross Team for the next two years in the FIM MX1 World Championship.

The 24-year-old Russian Bobryshev, who comes from Kondrovo, has been riding Honda since he switched to the MX1 class. The past two years Bobryshev has been riding for the Honda World Motocross Team. Last year he won the German Grand Prix in Teutschenthal with a double series victory. This, together with a number of podium places, earned him fourth place in the final standings of the 2011 World Championship.

Evgeny Bobryshev #777 : I am really happy to be part of the Honda family again for the next two years. This is my second year with the Honda World Motocross Team. I feel good here and we work hard together for the same goal. This is the main reason why I extended my contract. With this team you have a good support around you as a rider and that gives you an important feeling during the ups and downs. I am already looking forward to continue working hard and achieving good results together with this team around me, so I am sure of success. I have looked at other possibilities, but fundamentally it is important for me that I have a good feeling in this team and trust with the people who work with you. I am very happy with the CFR-450R. With the support of the R&D department in Japan as well as Honda Europe, Showa and Dunlop we have together a comprehensive program to make a strong development to give me the best material.
