Steven Frossard has successfully undergone knee surgery and can now begin his rehabilitation. Frossard has already been allowed to leave Lyon hospital.
The Monster Energy Yamaha rider underwent successful knee ligament surgery as well as the removal of the damaged meniscus.
The factory YZ450FM rider will now go to the rehabilitation center for three weeks where the results of the operation will be carefully monitored.
It is expected that the Frenchman could start preliminary exercises and cycling after just over a month. A full recovery is not expected until November.
