We got to see some spectacle in the races in Portugal, but also right after the race where Jeffrey Herlings spoke some naughty language towards Mel Pocock. At the start of the last two laps Pocock hindered leader Herlings and so Herlings lost the series victory to Tommy Searle. In the first interview immediately after the finish Herlings spoke clearly against Pocock..."Pocock watch out..."
So we took a look on Twitter to see some reactions after this Portuguese Grand Prix…
AUTHOR- ‘On-track Off-road’
- Mel Pocock said he held the line, as per the rule with the blue flag. Herlings is in a position where not many will do favours
- Anger on the track, in pitlane, in front of the cameras: Grand Prix continues to fascinate. Herlings still in MX2 mire after backmarker rant
- Herlings’ approach to the Tonus family over the ‘Dixon ploy’ suspicion was out of control and oh-so-wrong
- Herlings has the maximum FIM fine for his ‘Unacceptable behaviour’ on live TV; 3000 euros I think. Pocock was warned for his conduct
