DIt is common knowledge that Antonio Cairoli loves the sand. But it is rare that he is so strong so early in the season. Cairoli dominated the MX1 qualification today and immediately shows that he has no intention of giving up his gold plate. Clement Desalle started quietly but eventually came back nicely to second place. Steven Frossard came third, Philipaerts fourth and our compatriots Strijbos and De Dycker finished fifth and sixth.
