DThis weekend the Elect-Râ BK Enduro starts in Bilstain. Wim Vanderheyden will once again defend the colours of Husaberg Belgium in 2012. And Wim knows better than anyone how to take care of his PR. Below you can read his preview of the new season.
This Sunday is the day when the new Enduro season will start. The 2012 opener goes to Bilstain. We are immediately presented with the most difficult one of the season. This is a competition that is completed within a closed domain. 6 rounds with short connections and 3 tests per round. The tests are very technical due to the rocky surface and the artificial or artificial obstacles constructed by the Crosset trial family. Really something for men with a trial background. I don't have one myself, so I went there last weekend to get used to the specific surface and make the right choice of tires.
My preparation went well, so I am convinced that it will be a great season. Just like last year, I will start in the E3 class. I will mainly have competition from Cédric Melotte and Patrick Caps, not the least, but with my Husaberg TE300 equipped with Dunlop tires, DT1 filters and lubricated with Motorex oil, I have the necessary assets to distinguish myself.
I also have a well-filled program in 2012. In addition to the Belgian Championship tests, I will contest 2 French classics in the spring, the European Championship test in Italy, the 12 hours of La Chinelle and I am a candidate for the Six Days in Germany. In between I participate in a few MX races to keep up the speed.
2012 is also the year in which the Husaberg Cup starts. Last Saturday I met the 7 pilots and gave them some driving tips. It's always nice to see how much progress these boys make on such a day.
That's about it. Just like last year, I will report after every match.
Regards. Wim
