Twe will post on our twitter account at the end of August @mxmag_nl When asked who else thought Ryan Dungey would go to KTM, a lot of fans agreed with us. Now the decision has been officially made. Followed one year after Roger Decoster slam dunk his mentor to the Austrian manufacturer. The multiple American champion will ride the KTM SX-F 450 in the SX Championship. His agreement is valid for 2012 and 2013.

The 21-year-old Dungey himself is very enthusiastic about his transition: “I'm really looking forward to riding for Red Bull-KTM and working with Roger again. This is certainly a new challenge, but KTM has made a very good impression on me with the way they have supported KTM and we share the same philosophy: only through hard work can you win trophies. I switched to KTM to win races and help bring them a championship.”

In the Lites class, the two MX2 world champions Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin will defend the KTM colors. There was no mention of Andrew Short in the KTM press release. Short made the switch from Honda US to KTM last year.
