Dhe qualifications in Sevlievo did not bring any big surprises today. The victory in the MX2 class went easily to Ken Roczen, who led from start to finish and tolerated no opposition. Tommy Searle made a successful comeback with a second place, Herlings was third and Osbourne fourth. Jeremy van Horebeek was the first compatriot in sixth place.

In the MX1 class, Steven Frossard immediately took the lead and didn't let anyone get close to him. Behind him, Bobryshev rode strongly to second place. Desalle pushed hard after a mediocre start but settled for third place. Nagl finished fourth, followed by Cairoli and Philipaerts, who fought a tough duel. Ramon finished eighth ahead of Strijbos, who had to give up a few places after a good start due to problems with the front wheel. After a bad start, Ken de Dycker started a comeback but abandoned the battle with engine problems.
