Dhe Dutch sand specialist Jordi Paez-Dominguez took the lead in the first race. Paez-Dominguez could not enjoy his leadership for long, because Lars Oldekamp took command. The German was clearly a size too strong and seemed to be heading for victory until he was in the 8th lap was canceled with mechanical problems. This gave Guillod the lead, but the Swiss was also unable to finish the job. In an exciting final sprint, training fastest Petar Petrov, the Frenchman Guillod beats Tixier and Fors.
After the early leaders Van Wezel and Verheyen, Nick Triest took the lead just after half the race. The DIGA-KTM pilot was ahead of Van Wezel and Tixier, but in the final phase things went wrong for the Belgian champion. Van Wezel won the series and also the final score. European 125cc champion Jordi Tixier came second, Kevin Fors took the podium in third. The promising Brent Van Doninck made a notable debut in MX2 in Lommel. A top result was not yet possible for the young Herentals resident, but Van Doninck showed that he has handled the switch from 85cc to the big bikes well. Dave Versluis was the fastest 125cc rider with an 11de and a 9de place.
