GIs there still hope for the Neeroeteren Kiezelgroeve? According to the newspapers of the Corelio group, there is indeed a glimmer of hope. The province of Limburg is proposing a scheme with three one-day events per year. That way, on Easter Sunday, the Kiezelgroeve could be used again for cross-country skiing. However, this is still just a proposal and so nothing is certain yet. Nevertheless, this message is in contrast to the bad news that has reached us in recent months.
