Good old Mika Ahola may not have been the fastest, but he was the smartest and most consistent in Genoa. Ahola won one final and came second and third in the other two finals respectively. Watch the clip for Ahola's reaction.
Husaberg factory rider Joakim Ljunggren came second. During the first round of the indoor Enduro World Championship, all eyes were on Taddy Blazusiak, the absolute specialist in the endurocross discipline. Blazusiak finished third, but the Pole had a serious crash in the first final. To make matters worse, Blazusiak crashed a second time, but he still managed to finish ninth with a seriously damaged engine. Despite the pain of his previous crashes, Taddy was leading in the second final until he crashed again. Mika Ahola took advantage and won. In the third final it was finally scored for Blazusiak who led from start to finish.
