Me end of the sports season, the Mettet Superbiker on 8, 9 and 10 October is also fast approaching. Although the supermoto discipline itself is not doing well, the Superbiker is still in excellent health. Both the greatest champions and the general public continue to find their way to Mettet! The organisers themselves are talking about spectator numbers between 30 and 40.000 for the last editions. Every year, the public knows how to appreciate the great spectacle and the unique field of participants in Mettet. The battle between the best riders in the world in the various disciplines continues to appeal to the imagination!

The new circuit

As we prepare for 25 years of Superbiker in 2011, a new chapter in the rich Superbiker history is also being written this year. Because together with the new, permanent road racing circuit in Mettet - which was inaugurated before the summer - the Voo Superbiker will also have a new track. This circuit will of course make optimal use of the brand new asphalt of the Jules Tacheny circuit, but the off-road sections that connect the asphalt also promise a spectacle including three spectacular jumps.

To make the competitions as open as possible, a surprising cocktail of top players from all disciplines will be at the start. The best-known names among the motocross riders are Ken De Dycker, Max Nagl, Josh Coppins, Sebastien Pourcel, Mickael Pichon, Sven Breugelmans, Yves Demaria and Cédric Melotte, but enduro star David Knight will also be present, as will the best superbike riders in the world. : Boris Chambon, Adrien and Thomas Chareyre, Mauno Hermunen, Davide Gozzini and Ivan Lazzarini (the 2009 winner). Of course, the Belgian specialists are also present with Eddy Seel, Marc Fraikin, Eric Delannoy and Gerald Délepine. Or what about the big names from speed: Troy Corser, Fabien Foret, Broc Parkes, Gino Rea, Stephane Chambon and our compatriot Xavier Siméon. The Bostrom brothers (Ben and Eric), Mike Metzger and Micky Dymond provide the traditional American input. And believe us, as always, the list of stars is much longer!

In short, a spectacle guaranteed on the circuit, but also off it. For example, freestyle fans can prepare for a spectacular show with Mat Rebeaud! The Superbiker remains the ideal family outing with entertainment for children and adults. You can buy tickets in advance in the Suzuki car and motorcycle network, but hurry! Before the end of September you can take advantage of the pre-sale price of €30. The price for the weekend is €40, for Sunday alone you pay €35. Entrance is free for those under 15.
