BBesides Clément Desalle's first MX Pro Series race, Tongeren-Berg on July 11 has many more firsts. One of them is the comeback of Spanish tastemaker Jonathan Barragan! The Kawasaki factory pilot dislocated his right leg at the end of April, but now wants to come back strong. The six-time GP winner is a welcome guest at 'the Berg' in 2009 he came fourth and in 2008 he stood on the podium after Steve Ramon and Ken De Dycker. Barragan likes to ride in Tongeren, although it remains to be seen what you can already show in a GP-worthy field of participants. In the meantime, the organizing AMC Lauw also received the withdrawal of Seb Pourcel. Negotiations are still ongoing to replace the Frenchman with one or more equally strong riders.
