Hhe current season is only halfway through and the new calendars for next season have already been announced. Today, the FIM motorsport federation released a first provisional version of this calendar.
It is remarkable that the season does not start until May 15, more than a month and a half later than usual. The main reason for this is to give riders who want to ride the American supercross championship the opportunity to contest the full World Championship.
Also notable is the return of Australia to the calendar. After an absence of 8 years, the first GP of the season will be held in Broadford.
The Belgian GP will take place on August 7 in Lommel.
The MXON Nations Cup will be held before the end of the World Championship season on September 25 in St Jean d'Angely.
