During the first heat of the Bulgarian GP, Manuel Priem had a serious crash. He got his steering wheel full in his chest and also had severe back pain. He was immediately transferred to the military hospital near Sevlievo where fluid was found in the lungs. In addition, they also suspected that the 12th vertebra might have been broken. Today the situation was stabilized and Dieselpriem was transferred to a hospital in Sofia where they carried out further examinations.
Fortunately, they found that there was no fracture of the vertebra or neck, which is already a great reassurance. He is now receiving antibiotics for his lungs and the situation will be monitored. As soon as it is stable, the Aprilia rider will be transferred to Belgium as quickly as possible.
