IIn Belgium we have the Vuurtorenwijk in Oostende, in New Zealand they have the “Cemetery circuit” in Wanganui. Every year on the second day of Christmas the biggest road race meeting of the New Zealand summer takes place there.
During the Christmas holidays, Italian Supermoto stars Ivan Lazzarini and Davide Gozzini tried their luck in the Southern Hemisphere. Both riders competed in the Supermoto class of the so-called “Tri-series”, a mini-championship that is held on 3 different circuits during the end of the year. Strictly speaking, this is not a Supermoto, but we did not want to deprive you of the spectacle in the Streets of Wanganui, although in Belgium this would simply be called a monobike.
